Our Staff
Our staff have extensive retail and menswear fashion experience and look forward to welcoming you to the store.
Don Pitt
Don joined his brother Neil in the shop soon after it was opened in 1949, at 123 Charles St.
Apart from one year of National Service in 1951, Don has worked in the shop for 70+ years. As such, he is undoubtedly one of the most experienced retailers in Australia.
Don has had a long career as a respected businessman across a number of industries, but his main passion is menswear and the shop and what he enjoys most is serving customers.
He received a Life Membership of the Launceston Chamber of Commerce in October 2019 pictured here with then Chamber President Tim Holder.
Don effectively retired in April 2024 but as the soul of the shop we intend to leave his profile here on our staff page.
Andrew Pitt
Andrew Pitt joined Neil Pitt’s Menswear when he returned to Launceston in 2009 after many years away in Hobart, Sydney and England.
He is currently the President of Harvest Launceston Community Farmers Market and sits on the UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy committee.
